I thought that I would of been able to update much sooner than this but alas I didn't have a chance.
I was posessed by Betty Homemaker today and went on this cleaning binge. Well I can't say that it was really cleaning persae, as I cleaned yesterday but I did several loads of laundry and I had to reorganize the hunk's closet as well as our dresser in order to get all the fresh and clean clothes put away properly.
I'm pooped.
Yesterday was really fun. Friends of ours came over, not all the people we had invited but that was ok. Tommy's best friend, his wife and thier daughter came over. She is just 6 months older than the kidlet and he was absolutely smitten. It was so cute! He wanted to hold her hand and show her all around the house, he chased her, she said he pulled her hair (must be love!) when he tried to get his toys back from her and he even kissed her goodbye. I think he's found a new playmate.
They took us out to dinner for the hunk's birthday. How nice of them! We went to a restaurant called Cheddars and it was really delicious. I had grilled chicken alfredo with lots of veggies mixed in with it. It was very good.
I have exercised three days in a row, so I took today off. I did all the laundry and ran around the tennis courts playing with the kid so I think I managed to get some exercise in despite my taking today off. I just felt I needed to let my body recoup since I had pushed it for two days being sore.
I did eat like two pieces of chocolate birthday cake with delicious chocolate icing. I know, bad. But oh well, I ate it and enjoyed it. It isn't our birthday every day you know. I am, however, going to take up the rest of the cake really good so that it is such an ordeal for me to "nibble" on it all night. I'd toss it but hey, it isn't my birthday cake. It is the hunk's and as soon as he says I can toss it (he's a chocoholic) I will. I'm almost sure that he'll only tell me that when it is just the remains of the container. I honestly hope he eats it all himself.
I haven't gotten my hubby anything for his birthday, we're just flat broke right now but as soon as that tax return (that has already been spent 10 times over hehe) comes in, I'll be getting him another sword. He has three that are in our living room and I must say, I rather like them myself!
I'm heading to make a light dinner for us as soon as I'm done with this entry. As soon as hubby walks in the door I want the wafting aroma of ham sandwhiches to tantalize his senses. Ohhh what a lucky man he is!
On a final note, I think that I have taught my son how to pee standing up. I told Daddy it was his job to do the teaching in that department if we had a boy. Of course, Mom's are the ones that actually get things done and frankly it was a necessity. I had just bathed my little one, put on his pull up and zipped him up all snug in freshly clean pj's. You know, the one piece jammies with the feet...
About 5 minutes later guess who has to go to the bathroom? Well instead of taking the footy pj's off of him, then pulling down the pullup, I just unzipped, pulled down and stood him infront of the toilet. I made him hold it and he went. He's gone that way at least three times since then, all standing up.
What was so hard about that???
Ok, enough potty talk. I'm sure it is way TMI for those sensative potty types. Heehee!
